CLIENT: Moonstone Skin & Body Care, San Francisco Bay Area skin care and wellness spa

CHALLENGE: To word copy in a creative way to promote the company’s offerings on its website (repurposed for emails), while maintaining expectations.

SOLUTION: I leaned on one of the key brand voice traits, authenticity, as well as the brand’s expertise, to effectively explain unusual and unique services and products.

For the service, it was important to connect to customers with a need that they can relate to but perhaps didn’t realize they had or how to obtain. And then I dived into how the brand had a solution and how that would feel to make that a reality for yourself.

For the product, calling out one of the brand’s top vendors, PCA Skin, I played with the unusual ingredient, pumpkin, and related it to the time of the year. I then called attention to its surprising effects on common skincare concerns.
