CLIENT: Wink PR, a solopreneur’s public relations business

CHALLENGE: To provide website copy to rebrand the owner as more than just a publicist but as a connector, offering strategic brand partnerships and experiences as ways to generate publicity and portray clients to target audiences. The website did not have a consistent, clear tone to properly represent this business owner’s unique skills that would grow her business by attracting bigger clients.

The client charged me with recreating her own voice through the copy. She needed this rewrite for her About Page. The challenge is to not only promote herself and what she can do for businesses, but also her agency, Wink PR.

SOLUTION: I established the brand’s position as an “All-encompassing marketing and communications firm elevating brands through strategic storytelling experiences.” This supported the USP that I created as her homepage header, “360 Powerhouse Marketing & Partnership Building for Next-Level Brands.” I based how to portray the founder through this positioning to ensure consistent messaging when describing the person and the agency and titled her as a strategic storyteller and connector.

Overall, I created a brand voice that is personable, given her side business as a career coach and strong ability as a matchmaker between brands, passionate to demonstrate her commitment to her clients, knowledgeable to present her as an expert at what she does and authentic as someone who will tell a client what is needed, not just what is wanted.

RESULTS: The client stated that I got her voice and was thrilled that I was able to recreate and represent her through the website. She then felt equipped to proudly use it for a sales tool to pitch to new business clients.
