NetSchools Customer Case Study

CLIENT: NetSchools, education technology start-up committed to providing laptops for every child in class.

CHALLENGE: To demonstrate the importance of a new start-up’s mission and service provided for schools.

SOLUTION: I interviewed the chairman of the company, and our media spokesperson, and talked to a representative of a recent customer, a high school in West Virginia, who had benefited from NetSchools’ services for a case study. It was key to present what the problem was that this school was facing and how NetSchools stepped in to solve it. The resulting case study tells the story of how start-up NetSchools' classroom technology, first of its kind at the time, developed students' technology skills and boosted learning.

RESULTS: This served as a great tool to secure media interviews for a press tour. It also led to my writing a byline article for trade publication, T.H.E. Journal, titled “Benefits of One on One Computing.”
