BRAND: DoorDash Small Restaurants
CHALLENGE: To create a website landing page designed to increase the number of small, independently run restaurants offered on DoorDash. Or to at least encourage this audience to talk to an expert to answer their questions. These owners already offer takeout and have a loyal following of core customers but are skeptical of new technology and services. They typically rely on Facebook to market their business and often do not have a website. They will reach this landing page when they click through an ad on Facebook.
The voice is casual, reassuring and simple.
SOLUTION: I created a landing page with a design emulating the brand (as this is created as a spec.) To convey the reassuring voice I used language like “take out stress,” “business is tough, but it doesn’t have to be.” This positioned the brand as the helpful friend that will make things easier for the business to be successful. The copy is also gently persuasive by providing many reasons on why a business would want (or need) to partner with the brand.
I concluded by reiterating the ask but offering an expert to answer any concerns before taking the next step.
