BRAND: Johnson & Johnson Baby Hair Care Products
CHALLENGE: To create an email to increase awareness of the brand’s baby conditioner and encourage people to buy the product by getting them to click through for the coupon.
SOLUTION: I created copy that spoke to the conditioner’s benefits for the baby, to appeal to a parent’s sense of comfort for their little ones, as well as how to make the usage of it easy.
The famous “no tears” formula is highlighted to promote non-irritation and, therefore, “giggles and bubbles” as called out in the email’s body snippet to engage readers.
The copy’s tone is friendly, sincere, knowledgeable and helpful. I used words like “limited time only” to hasten action for the coupon’s great deal to try out the product.
In terms of branding, I pulled colors from the Johnson’s baby division and a photo of a cute, smiling baby to attract attention and drive home the message.
